Toadstool Fairy House

This is something I have been working on a while now. It's one of those things I kept starting then putting down and doing something else. Well at last it is completed!

I got the idea from www.ikatbag.com/2010/06/fairies-and-their-houses.html.

I didn't buy the pattern instead I decided to make things harder for myself and create my own.

As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it and knew my nieces would too! I'm going to make a few more and give them to my nieces for Christmas pressie's. I was thinking instead of doing them all Toadstool houses I could maybe do a Daisy house as well but still umming and arring about that one, what do you think???

Here she is hiding from the world in her new home!!

Happy Birthday Joanna!!

Its my step daughters 12th birthday today and her is the pressie I made for her.

I must admit I do find it hard to think of things to make her and also for my niece who is also the same age.

I think its because I make a lot of toys which would be too young for them and then I do a lot of home stuff which would probably be too old for them!! So if anyone has any good ideas of pressie's for teenagers please share your thoughts!!

I went with a bag becuase a figured any girl at any age loves bags and I personally love the union jack theme which seems to be in all the shops at the moment!!

Hope she like it!!

Happy Birthday to Katie!!

Its my sister in laws birthday today so I made her this cute owl cushion to go in her new house which she'll be moving into in August.

I've seen quite a lot of these in shops and have been admiring them for some time. I was bit gutted when I had to give it away. Definetely going to have to make myself one!

Two projects done!!

Well I haven't been very well recently, hayfever and asthma don't go together!!

After a little time off from everything I got started with my two cushions I've been commissioned to do and my laundry bin liner.

Two projects now ticked off the list.

The cushions are for friends who have two little boys and wanted some customised cushions for them.

The laundry bin liner was done for my new laundry bin that my husband made from spare wood he had. He's very talented!!

Now I just have to finish my other projects!!
